A Study on the Relationship between Individual-level and Organizational-level Collaboration Processes and Technology Transfer Performance

    Abstract

    In order for the nation's innovation systems to develop and become active, technology transfer among technological innovation agents and degrees of technology innovation should be vigorous. In this study, partnership was divided into individual-level and organizational –level collaboration.Within each dimension, it was subdivided by within organization / between organization and use of mediation organization / use of direct organization. The results of regression analysis showed that collaboration of Individual-level and direct organizational collaboration had positive influences on technology commercialization performance. In order to enhance technological transfer performance, mutual communication should be continuously established with technological transfer seminars, conferences, and technological know-howto enhance individual levels of cooperation among organizations. Holding regular conferences and expanding various follow-up support programs are necessary to invigorate the partnerships between organizations.
